Orthography is concerned with the correct spelling of words of a language. Due to Cajun French being a dialect of Standard French, the orthography of Standard French is used when writing Cajun French.
One will find that the orthography for Standard French is very precise in its representation of the sounds. Once one has learned the basics, reading and writing Cajun or Standard French will be very easy.
